M.A.D.E. is Access Youth’s most impactful program. Created in response to an alarmingly high rate of altercations between girls, M.A.D.E. provides young women an opportunity to voice their experiences, self-reflect, and build relationships. M.A.D.E. is the only program in DC that meets these young women where they are emotionally. It provides evidence-based programming that addresses underlying causes that disconnect girls of color from their peers and academic communities, keeping them stuck in cycles of poverty and crime. For at-risk girls of color, M.A.D.E. flips the script.
