Expose, Explore, Experience. Camp iFLY is a five-week summer day camp that culminates with a one-week trip abroad to Costa Rica. Its new curriculum, which aligns with best practices in Social-Emotional Learning and Common Core standards, will allow its iFLY Scholars to expand knowledge of self, interpersonal skills, their community, and the world.

Funding Request For:

iFLY’s target audience for the camp are 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls of color from the DC Metropolitan area from underserved neighborhoods. In total the camp will host 20 students. Through the program, participants receive U.S. Passports, pre-trip education including Spanish language lessons, and the trip itself.
