Improving and preserving sight and quality of life by providing services, education, and championing healthy vision and innovation to everyone in the Greater DC area. The Prevention of Blindness Society provides all services at no cost to families, and insurance coverage is not required to participate.

Funding Request For:

The Community Service Grant supports POB’s Children’s Vision Health Program, which includes vision screening, eye exams, and provision of eyeglasses for DC children. CVHP will ensure 2,300 DC kids have the vision necessary to succeed in and out of the classroom.
